Signs of Spring — Conceptual Illustration
This illustration is my personal reflection on the deep homesickness I feel for the vibrant Ukrainian spring. Back home, each month brings its own blossoms and celebrations—spring there is truly unforgettable.
Here in Manitoba, Canada, after long, harsh winters, the wait for green feels almost unbearable. When the first dandelions emerge in May, they feel like tiny miracles—quiet symbols of hope, softly announcing that spring has arrived.
This piece is about longing—for warmth, for renewal, and for the place that feels like home.
