I’m Daria Lada, an illustrator and visual artist from Ukraine, now based in Canada.
I create conceptual illustrations that blend emotion, texture, and vibrant color to translate complex ideas into striking visual stories.

Working across editorial, publishing, and brand projects, I collaborate closely with creative teams to craft illustrations that is both meaningful and visually distinctive.

My work has been featured in and created for clients including The Guardian, The Lancet, Los Angeles Times, Wired Middle East, The Globe and Mail, The Walrus, DATUM, Adventist Review, and others across journalism, science, and culture.

I’m especially drawn to projects where illustration becomes a bridge between information and emotion — shaping how stories are seen, felt, and remembered.
