This piece was created for an article exploring how VAR has changed the relationship between technology, truth, judgement, and responsibility.

The story looks beyond football to consider how we increasingly rely on technology not only to provide evidence, but also to help us make—and sometimes share—the decisions that follow. I focused on the tension between having more information and actually reaching an objective truth, and how technology can change the nature of disagreement rather than eliminate it.
